Bulgaria and EIB establish joint fund 

Vice President of the European Investment Bank, Matthias Kollatz-Ahnen, and Bulgarian Minister of Regional Development, Rosen Plevneliev, have signed an agreement for establishing a joint fund under the JESSICA programme for support of stable investmenst in urban regions. The financing, amounting to 33 million euro, will be provided by the European Fund for Regional Development (28 million euro) and Bulgaria – 5 million euro. The money will be used for urban projects. The fund will help Bulgaria implement the regional development operational programme in the period 2007-2013.
