Fest of Armenian traditions and culture in Burgas 

The Black sea port of Burgas hosts a festival, called “Days of the Armenian Culture and Traditions”. Musical and poetic performances with works of Armenian poets and composers will take place in the town on September 1-5. A culinary exhibition with typical Armenian cuisine will be presented along with backgammon and table tennis tournaments, as well as a bazaar of Armenian books, published in Bulgaria. Dance teams from the cities and towns with big Armenian communities will be presented on September 5th, right after the traditional mass at the “Surp Hatch” Orthodox Church. These are teams from Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna, Rousse, Shumen, Sliven, Yambol and Stara Zagora.
