Bulgarian Prime Minister meets former Spanish Premier Jose Maria Aznar 

Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov has met in Sofia with Spanish People’s Party honorary chairman and former Spanish PM, Jose Maria Aznar. Mr. Aznar is in Bulgaria to take part in a forum entitled “The Role of Rightist Governments in Overcoming the Effects of the Global Financial and Economic Crisis." After the meeting with Mr. Borissov, Mr. Aznar said that the policy of Bulgaria is successful and goals will be reached, especially in relation to fighting organised crime and corruption. The Bulgarian Prime Minister said economic issues and absorption of EU funds were also topics in the discussion. We aim at reaching 90% absorption of these funds, similar to Spain, Borissov said.
