Bulgarian border police detain 16 illegal immigrants 

The Bulgarian border police have detained the total of sixteen illegal immigrants. Thirteen of them, eight Afghans, three Iraqis, one Algerian and a Pole, presumably their guide, were collared early on Wednesday while trying to cross the border with Greece at Kulata border checkpoint. Three other Afghans were detained on Tuesday night after they had illicitly entered Bulgarian territory in the locality of Vinen Dol off the border with Turkey.
