A monument to the Apostle of Freedom Vasil Levski was unveiled in Dimitrovgard, Serbia. Bulgarian PM Plamen Oresharski and Serbian PM Ivica Dacic attended the ceremony. In his speech, Plamen Oresharski said that the monument was there to symbolize understanding between the two brotherly nations that had been challenged over time. In turn, Serbia’s PM thanked Bulgaria for its support to Serbia’s EU accession. Dacic said he had discussed with his Bulgarian counterpart a joint economic forum of the two governments that should be held in the near future. Bulgarian brain workers, scholars, opinion leaders and business people attended the Vasil Levski monument’s unveiling.
