President Plevneliev meets leaders of African countries in Brussels

Agriculture, high technology, energy, construction, water management and healthcare are the main sectors in which a great potential for strengthening economic relations between Bulgaria and the African countries of Namibia, Algeria, Tunisia and Nigeria exists. This became clear after meetings of Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev within the framework of the EU-Africa Summit 2014 in Brussels. The Bulgarian head of state discussed with Prime Minister of Algeria Youcef Yousfi opportunities for deliveries of natural gas from Algeria to the Balkans and Central Europe through the North-South gas pipeline project.
