Varna hosts Balkan Rakia Festival

The Balkan Rakia Festival has been opened in Bulgaria’s Varna. It includes 20 companies from all over the country - manufacturers and retailers of traditional brandy. In addition to Bulgarian rakia they also sell spirits from neighboring Turkey, Greece, Macedonia and Serbia. The second edition of the forum focuses not only on rakia but various aniseed drinks and other alcoholic beverages, such as brandy, whiskey, vodka, vermouth, gin, liqueur, tequila. During the three days of the festivals visitors can try a number of products and win daily prizes, it was reported.
