National Statistical Institute marks home price increase

The market price index of the dwellings in Bulgaria saw a 0.3% increase in the second trimester of 2014 as compared to the previous quarter. It also marked a similar rise as compared to the same period last year, show data of the National Statistical Institute. The increase was more considerable in the coastal city of Burgas (1.8%), Plovdiv (1.3%) and Stara Zagora (1.1%) The average market price of the Bulgarian homes in the period April-June 2014 was around EUR 445 per square meter. Highest prices were registered in the capital Sofia (EUR 755 per square meter), followed by Varna (EUR 700) and Burgas (EUR 580).
