Bulgarians tourists occupy Aegean Sea

Photo: library

The nearby shores of the Aegean Sea in Greece have been occupied by Bulgarian tourists from the southwest regions of the country. This season tour operators offer day trips to the northern beaches of Greece. Some time ago a bus full of tourists was leaving each day from Blagoevgrad, but now their number is at least 5. Hit this summer is the region of Ofrinio near Kavala. The distance between the beach and the city of Blagoevgrad is just some 250 kilometers. The trip starts 6 am and by 10 am people are already at the beach. In order to provide better services to the biggest group of tourist in the region, Greek hotel and restaurant owners have hired a number of Bulgarians. These are generally young people who work hard for 600 euro a month, which is a good sum according to Bulgarian standards.
