The director of the press center of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Genoveva Chervenakova said for the BNR that Sunday’s elections in Donetsk and Lugansk do not comply with international law. The Foreign Ministry’s press release reads that in relation with the so-called presidential and general elections held November 2 in the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic cause deep concern. These elections are contradicting acting Ukrainian legislation and the Minsk Protocol and are not contributing to the finding of a lasting political solution of the crisis in the Ukraine, the announcement further reads.
