The new Bulgarian cabinet should show the courage to implement the politically tough reforms, postponed for years, to the end, Vice President of EC Kristalina Georgieva called on. She pointed out the healthcare system, the retirement one and the administration as priorities. In an interview for BNR she explained that the EC might not start a procedure against Bulgaria due to excessive deficit, but its threefold increase within a year is a serious problem and requires urgent measures, the commissioner underlined. In her words the EC forecast on a decline, regarding growth and investments and increasing of the debt and deficit is alarming. According to her the closure of Corporate Commercial Bank is only one of the reasons. The other ones pointed: the still tough economic situation in Europe, the crisis in Ukraine and the long period of political instability in Bulgaria. However, perspectives can change, whenever policies are changed.
