Tsvetana Pironkova climbs 15 notches in world rankings

Tsvetana Pironkova is 52nd in the latest edition of the Women’s Tennis Association’s weekly rankings. The Bulgarian has a score of 991 points and has climbed 15 notches from the 67th place. Pironkova begins her participation in Australian Open with a match versus Brit Heather Watson. In case of success the Bulgarian tennis player will defend her score from last year. In another development, Grigor Dimitrov remains 11th in the weekly ATP rankings. Bulgaria’s top male star has 3645 points and begins Australian Open with a match versus German Dustin Brown. The Bulgarian star has to defend 360 points after he reached the semifinals last year.
