The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development /EBRD/ has corrected significantly its forecast on Bulgarian economy in 2015 on Monday. In September 2014 the London-based international institution expected this country’s economy to grow by 2% of GDP over the current year. In January the expectations shrank nearly threefold – down to 0.8 percent of GDP. It is expected to be the weakest result across the past three years. If the EBRD forecast becomes reality, Bulgaria will be one of the SEE countries with the poorest growth.
