Bulgaria ranks 30th in the quality of healthcare services out of 37 surveyed countries across Europe. This is the result of this year’s the European Health Consumer Index, which is carried through by the European Commission for the seventh year in a row. With the number of points Bulgaria collects, it outruns Romania, Lithuania and Poland. According to the detailed analysis however, Bulgaria is the only country in the Index list, where all indicators for a given system of services are in red, which is a sign of meager performance.
