Bulgarian chess player Vesselin Topalov has signed a participation contract for the new professional chess circuit Chess Tour 2015 comprising three of the world‘s most prestigious tournaments – Stavanger, Norway in June, Saint Louis, USA in August and London in December. The prize money totals GBP 1 million. The players who were top nine seeds on 1 January, 2015 will all take part in the circuit and that makes Chess Tour 2015 the top chess tournament in history. Each of the three host cities will nominate one representative, bringing the number of grand masters taking part up to 10.
