CITUB demands labor price to be 45% of GDP in two years

During the National Conference marking the 25th anniversary of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) its leader Plamen Dimitrov called the Bulgarian government and the employers to defend workers’ right to strike. He also defined the demands about labor payments as the basic priority of the Confederation. According to Plamen Dimitrov incomes in Bulgaria should be viewed as a basic source of growth. The goal of trade unions, according to the CITUB leader, is that the price of labor in Bulgaria becomes 45% of GDP by 2017.
