Bulgaria’s best male tennis player Grigor Dimitrov was defeated 1:6; 3:6 by Gael Monfils at the quarterfinals of the Monte Carlo Masters tennis tournament. The French athlete who joined the tournament with a wild card scored an easy visctory against the No 9 seeded Bulgarian in 58 minutes, thus winning his third victory out of four matches against his Bulgarian opponent. Grigor Dimitrov scored three victories at the Monte Carlo tournament and won EUR 78,820 of the prize fund and 180 points for the ATP rankings, which means that he would keep his 11th position in the beginning of next week.
