The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg sent a new notification to the Bulgarian cabinet which rejects the third request sent by citizens of Maksuda district in Varna who insisted that the local authorities in Varna should stop the demolition of 60 illegal Roma buildings. Taking the information of the Bulgarian authorities into account, the court has decided that it is not necessary to take measures, in order to prevent possible violation of the rights of the plaintiffs, guaranteed by the Human Rights Convention. The national authorities have the right to demolish illegal buildings and move people who live illegally on municipal land, if they adhere to the regulations and the terms of the law.
