Bulgaria will make voluntary contributions to the WFP and UNICEF for ensuring the nutrition of refugees in countries neighboring on Syria, as well as for the access of Syrian children to education. The contributions will be announced by Bulgarian Premier Boyko Borissov in his capacity of head of the Bulgarian delegation at the International Summit, due February 4, in London. Bulgaria takes up the engagement to grant EUR 150 000, of which EUR 100 000 through the WFP and EUR 50 000 through UNICEF for equitable access to quality education for the internally displaced and/or out of school kids. Up to date Bulgaria has taken part with financial contributions in all donor conferences on Syria, which have been taking place on an annual basis.
