Former National Intelligence Service Director Kircho Kirov sentenced to 10 years in prison

The Military Court of Appeals has confirmed the ten year prison sentence on former Director of the National Intelligence Service General Kircho Kirov. Kirov is on trial for embezzlement of nearly EUR 2.5 million. Kircho Kirov was acquitted of the charges that he falsified documents, in order to facilitate the money misappropriation. The court banned Kirov from occupying top positions in state or public institutions for 13 years.
