Austria deploys policemen to Bulgaria-Serbia border

Twenty Austrian policemen are to take part at the surveillance of the Bulgaria-Serbia border at the instruction of Austria’s Minister of Interior Wolfgang Sobotka. A statement of the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior reads that the closure of the so-called Balkan Migrant Route is of key significance for overcoming the migrant crisis in Europe and that the EU members should contribute to that process.
