Bulgaria, Serbia to speed up construction of gas interconnector

Bulgaria’s outgoing Minister of Energy Temenuzhka Petkova and her Serbian counterpart-Minister of Mining and Energy Aleksandar Antic signed a memorandum of understanding under the project for construction of gas interconnection link between Bulgaria and Serbia. According to the document, the two countries agree to make efforts and start the construction of that gas interconnector by May 2019 at the latest, so that it can be officially unveiled by the end of 2020.
