Welcome to Heartbeat Bulgaria, Radio Bulgaria’s daily webcast.

It is a day today to celebrate love in the St. Valentine tradition, but also wine, in tune with an array of local St. Tryphon the Pruner rituals held in vineyards.

Hence the stories this Tuesday:

We begin with the wine theme – and show Bulgaria as the home of superb wines;

Next, we suggest a few romantic places in Bulgaria that are quite good for an amorous itinerary;

Finally, in Timeout for Music, internationally acclaimed soloists appear in two concerts of the Sofia Philharmonic this week that will be conducted by Konstantin Ilievsky.

Welcome to 30 minutes of Bulgarian stories and music!
