Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics group team triumphs at Baku World Cup

The Bulgarian rhythmic gymnastics group team won the gold in the all-around at the World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan. The gymnasts led by coaches Vesela Dimitrova and Miahela Maevska and in the following line-up - Simona Dyankova, Elena Bineva, Madlen Radoukanova, Laura Traats and Teodora Alexandrova, snatched the gold with a total score of 36.550. The Bulgarians once again performed with brilliance scoring 18.200 in the routine with three balls and two ropes. After yesterday’s performance of the five hoops routine and the high score of 18.350 they ranked first. Second is Italy’s group team with a total score of 35.500. The bronze went to Ukraine whose team scored 35.100. For the Bulgarians this has been a second title in the all-around at a World Cup tournament. The first one was won in Pesaro, Italy. Tomorrow the competition continues with the finals for different apparatuses.
