From 22 May Bulgarian experts begin tests in two of the old EU member countries to check the quality of foodstuffs sold by world producers. The findings will be compared with the same brands on sale in Bulgaria, Minister of Agriculture Rumen Porozhanov said. Subject to testing will be chocolate products, sodas, meat and dairy products, baby foods of producers from Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands and France. Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Croatia have already confirmed differences in the quality of foods sold on their markets compared to the same brands sold in West Europe.
