The Hand for Help Foundation launched in the city park in Dobrich (northeast Bulgaria) the second edition of the festival mottoed World Without Violence. Youngsters are offered to take part in three workshops – face painting, painting on cardboard and music. Kids also joined numerous amusement games and dances within the frame of the festival. Each participant was given a bracelet with the logo of the event. An exposition was arranged showing the best achievements from the summer painting workshops.  Photo: BTA

The photo exposition entitled “With Mouth Open”, showing works by one of Spain’s most prominent photographers – Cristina Garcia Rodero opened in the Dvoretsa (the palace) National Gallery. The event is within the frame of the Fotofabrika Festival. The collection of photographs in black and white is a retrospective journey offering a different vision on one of the most expressive parts of the human being – the mouth, as a means of expression of the widest scale of emotions – anger, joy, fear or happiness. This is the first solo exhibition in Bulgaria for Cristina Garcia Rodero, but her third visit to Bulgaria as an author. Photo: BTA
