There are three main tasks performed by the Standing NATO Maritime Group 2, said Commodore James Morley, the commander of the Group, speaking at a briefing of the commanders of foreign vessels taking part in Breeze 2017 national naval exercise with international participation. He explained that the main task of the Group was to maintain a high level of combat readiness for counteraction to all kinds of threats and humanitarian crises.
