Ivet Lalova qualifies for 100m race semifinals in London

Bulgarian athlete Ivet Lalova-Collio qualified for the semifinals in the 100m race at the World Athletics Championships in London. She clocked the third-best time in her heat

At the Olympic stadium in the British capital the weather was adverse due to the rain, but 33-year-old Lalova showed class by running better in the second part of her sprint. Her time is 11:31 sec. with counter wind at 0.3m per second.

The semifinals in the 100m race (women) are due tomorrow.
