Grape harvest in Bulgaria starts

At the unveiling of grape harvest in the district of Pazardjik, South Bulgaria, Minister of Agriculture, Foods and Forests Rumen Porozhanov commented that the harvest was of excellent quality this year, which meant good wines. The grapes processed for wine in 2017 are expected to be over 200,000 tons. At the moment the country has more than 260 registered wine cellars and there has been growing interest towards their production, as Great Britain, China and Russia are among the major foreign markets for those, the minister pointed out.
