8 medals for Bulgaria at First European Junior Olympiad in Informatics

The First European Junior Olympiad in Informatics, held in Sofia on September 7 – 13 ended up with the handing of 8 gold, 14 silver and 22 bronze medals to students from the 22 countries, members of the Council of Europe. The Bulgarian participants took a total of 8 medals: 1 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze ones. Russia will host the next edition of the forum, as it scored the best team performance in its initial release.
