Bulgarian Minister of Finance Vladislav Goranov announced that the government has adopted the draft state budget for 2018, as well as the budget forecast for the period 2018 - 2020.

The good phase of the economic cycle has allowed the Cabinet to place gradual deficit reduction in the financial framework of 2018 and to implement the main priorities of the government’s program

In addition to implementing the government's main policy priorities in education, security, social sphere and infrastructure, the budget will also ensure normal functioning of all government bodies and institutions, Goranov said.

Partners of GERB from the United Patriots coalition assured the minister that in the course of parliamentary debates they would support the budget proposed by the finance ministry.
