First logistics center for E-commerce with China opened near Plovdiv

The first 16+1 Logistics  Center and Pavilion for E-commerce in Agricultural and Other Products with China and the countries from the Central and Eastern Europe was opened near the city of Plovdiv. Its task will be to promote the capabilities of our countries’ economies and encourage trade with China. In the past three years Bulgaria’s trade with agricultural products with those countries amounted to over USD 2 billion a year, which accounts for 26%-27% of Bulgaria’s total agricultural trade. In the past 10 years Bulgaria’s export to China increased sevenfold. Most of the Chinese investments in Bulgaria are in the field of agriculture, food, essential oils, cosmetics, wine and mineral water.
