Bulgarian Academy of Sciences ready to hold protests over underfunding

The Labor Unions of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Agricultural Academy are ready to launch a series of protests if they do not receive additional financing this year. In a declaration to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian government and the Representation of the European Commission in Bulgaria they insist that The Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the Agricultural Academy should receive respectively EUR 19 million and EUR 7.5 million from the surplus and the reserves of the Council of Ministers.
