A flower design with the logo of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union is going to welcome the guests of Sofia at the airport.To make the figures, about 2800 roots of evergreen and deciduous shrubs have been planted as well as more than 7000 flowers. More than 100 000 flower bulbs, over 5000 evergreen shrubs and 30 Japanese flowering cherries have been planted in key locations of the capital city. They are part of the four thematic flower figures dedicated to the Bulgarian EU Presidency. The flowers are expected to blossom in early spring.
