The commodity exchange between Bulgaria and Japan is worth 151 million US dollars which is a record high since 2008. There is also ample opportunity for the launch of various Bulgarian products on the Japanese market including wines, dairy products, rose oil and fish products. This has been made clear at a meeting of Deputy Minister of Economy Alexander Manolev and Japanese Ambassador to Bulgaria Masato Watanabe. According to Deputy Minister Manolev meetings at government level and the contacts between businesses from the two countries are aimed to promote Bulgaria-Japan trade and economic exchange.
