Bulgarian EU Presidency of special importance for Western Balkans

The Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of EU this year is of special importance for the Western Balkans, Montenegro President Filip Vujanovic has said while in a meeting with National Assembly President Tsveta Karayancheva.

The President of the Bulgarian parliament Tsveta Karayanchevahas said that the EU-Western Balkan summit due in May in Sofia will be a further step in the right direction towards European development of Montenegro and the Western Balkans. She however has specified that each country should be assessed based on its individual achievements in meeting established criteria.
