Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, who is paying a visit to Armenia, was guest to 131 secondary school in Erevan, named after great Bulgarian poet Peyo Yavorov. Rumen Radev together with Armenian Minister of Culture Armen Amirian opened a special class for interactive teaching. The hall is equipped with the financial support of the Bulgarian state. Peyo Yavorov (1878-1914) was keenly engaged in his poetry with the fate of the Armenian people dispersed across the world and an advocate to the Armenian community in Bulgaria. Photo: BTA

Sofia-based Sredets Gallery opened a photo exhibition of works by Svetoslav Chulin and dedicated to renowned Bulgarian opera basso Boris Christoff . The title of the collection – “Rome. A group of German tourists hired a steam engine for a tour across Bulgaria. Today they stopped over at the village of Tulovo, Stara Zagora region, on the way from Russe on the Danube. They are heading to the mountain resort town of Bansko. The group from Germany is to spend a whole week in Bulgaria using several restored steam engines owned by the state-owned Bulgarian Raylway Company (BDZ) used for different lines across the country.
