During the past night and today the paying of tribute to Elder Dobri, laying in state at the church in Baylovo, continues. He passed away yesterday at the age of 103. Elder Dobri was one of the biggest private donors to Christian temples across Bulgaria, for which he was popularly known as the Saint from Baylovo. Although Elder Dobri liveda humble life in the church yeard, he donated in his life over EUR 40,000 (own money and money donated by generous Bulgarians). Photo: BGNES

On the occasion of St. Valentine’s Day the red light in the street lights on several crossroads in Sofia were altered in the shape of a heart.
