Bulgarian Interior Minister Valentin Radev told the Bulgarian National Television that representatives of Frontex and the European Parliament had been surprised to find out that there is zero migration pressure on Bulgaria’s border with Turkey.

Currently, there are about 4000 migrants in the territory of Bulgaria, 84% fewer on last year.

In the meantime, the country is faced with a deadline to absorb 160 million euro until November for upgrading the integrated system of border protection, Minister Radev remarked.
