PM Borissov meets future Europol chief Catherine De Bolle, update

Fight with terrorism, human trafficking, payment tools abuse and computer crime have been central to the talks in Sofia of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov with the future executive director of Europol Catherine De Bolle.

De Bolle is currently General Commissioner of Belgium’s Federal Police and on May 1 takes over as head of the European service for combating crime.

Boyko Borissov and Catherine De Bolle have assessed very positively joint operations of Bulgarian and Belgian police forces in countering terrorism.

At a meeting of Bulgarian Prosecutor General Sotir Tsatsarov and Catherine De Bolle the two officials have discussed the organization of future trainings of Bulgarian prosecutors and Interior Ministry employees in the area of computer crime and virtual currencies.
