President Radev meets with PM Medvedev in Moscow

On the first day of his visit to Russia Bulgarian President Rumen Radev has met for talks in Moscow with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

The head of state has pointed out that bilateral commodity exchange worth 3.6 billion euro for the past year is a good figure but far from results in previous years. Pointing out that security of energy supplies are exceptionally important for Bulgaria as well as for the EU Radev has voiced hopes that the two countries will reconsider the option for possible direct gas supplies from Russia via the Black Sea.

The Russian premier has said that intensity of contacts between the two countries should increase. We expect that as a result of your visit we will be able to move our relations to a different level. Apart from your visit we are looking forward also to a visit of Premier Boyko Borissov, Prime Minister Medvedev has also said.
