The long-expected carpet of roses is now spreading in the spece before the National Palace of Culture. The mobile installation intertwines the famous Bulgarian symbol – the rose, with the Bulgarian style of embroidery and the logo of the Bulgaria presidency of Council of the EU. This carpet is a symbolic bridhe between the capitals of Bulgaria and the EU – i.e. Sofia and Brussels, where the “spreading” of such a flower carpet is a famous and long time tradition in spring.
