“Trade between Bulgaria and Japan stands at $163 million, which is absolutely inadequate knowing the potential of the two countries,” said Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev at the Bulgaria-Japan business forum held in Sofia.
He pointed out further that Bulgaria and Japan maintain an active cooperation, especially in the sphere of culture, and their good relations date back decades, however it is essential to deepen cooperation in the economy. The Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister noted that he expected cooperation to intensify in the food industry, IT etc.
