Municipalities from Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia organize together the Kraishte traditional congregation

Photo: library

The unique Kraishte international fair is organized over the second week of July at the Golesh area near the town of Kyustendil. This is the time when the old calendar marks the church fest of St. St. Peter and Paul. The event is also called The Three-Border Fest, as it is held on the spot, where the borders of Bulgaria, Macedonia and Serbia meet. The municipalities of three border towns are co-organizers of the event – Bosilegrad / Serbia/, Kyustendil /Bulgaria/ and Kriva Palanka /Macedonia/. This year the congregation will be on July 12 with many dancing formations from the three countries participating.
