The Hungarian low-cost carrier Wizz Air has announced that it is going to launch a new direct flight from Sofia to Eilat in Israel. The city, known as the holiday capital of Israel, is the southernmost city in the country, situated on the shores of the Red Sea. The en-route flights begin on November 10 and will be carried out twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Seats on the route are already on sale.
Since May 2014, the company has been carrying out regular flights from Sofia to Tel Aviv.
