Bulgaria 47th in FIFA rankings

Bulgaria has climbed two notches and now ranks 47th in FIFIA’s world rankings.

After less than a month the team led by head coach Petar Hubchev will begin its participation in Group 3 of the League of Nations where it will be seeded first among the rest of four teams.

Its first rival will be Slovenia, 55th in the rankings. Cyprus is 87th and Norway is 53rd.

World champion France is now first in the FIFA rankings, up from the seventh notch that it occupied prior to the World Cup in Russia. Second in Belgium and third – Brazil.
