First win of Bulgarian men’s volleyball side in Varna

Bulgaria’s men’s volleyball team scored its first win at the World Championships hosted jointly by Bulgaria and Italy.

At the Palace of Culture and Sport in Varna, the players led by head coach Plamen Konstantinov won the game 3:0 sets /25:21, 25:19 and 25:22/ versus Finland.

Watching the victory of the “tricolors” in the hall were President Rumen Radev and Minister of Sport Krasen Kralev.

The next games of the Bulgarian team are versus Iran (13 Sept.), PuertoRico (14 Sept.), Cuba (16 Sept.) and Poland (18 Sept.).
