First Bulgarian medal in modern pentathlon for last 17 years

Bulgarian modern pentathlon athletes Yavor Peshleevski and Todor Mihalev returned with a relay bronze medal. The third position of the two has resulted in the first medal for the country for 17 years. In the meantime Bulgarian pentathlon scored another major success: two of our talented and promising young athletes Zornitsa Stoilova and Hristo Panayotov won quotas and will present Bulgaria at the Olympic Youth Games in Buenos Aires, Argentine over the next month. Modern pentathlon consists of 5 disciplines: swimming /200 m freestyle/; fencing /small-sword/; horse riding /jumping/ and a mixed discipline /running & shooting/.
