Bulgaria drops 9 notches in the World Bank’s Doing Business report

Bulgaria has dropped nine notches from 50th to 59th position in the World Bank’s Doing Business annual report that includes 190 countries of the world.

In 2015, Bulgaria was 37th. Countries are positioned on the basis of criteria like starting a business, paying taxes, registering property, getting credit etc.

This year the list is topped by New Zealand with the best environment for doing businesses, followed by Singapore, Denmark, Hong Kong, South Korea etc. Bottom of the list are Venezuela, Eritrea and Somalia.
