Nikolai Banev and Evgenia Baneva extradited to Bulgaria from France, update

Bulgaria’s businessman Nikolai Banev and his wife Evgenia Baneva have been extradited to Bulgaria on December 6 and are already on Bulgarian land. Nikolai Banev and Evgenia Baneva were detained at the end of October this year after the Bulgarian authorities issued a European arrest warrant in connection with investigation into the privatization of Polimeri Plant in the town of Devnya, tax crime, document fraud and embezzlement.
